Also it also helps in insulation, temperature regulation, sensation, synthesis of vitamin D, and the protection of vitamin B folates.

Facial Ageing is a dynamic, complex and an irreversible process. This dynamic process is a synergistic effect of various factors and actually takes place at 4 distinct levels of the skin, namely, skin, subcutaneous tissue, SMAS, and facial Skeleton. The process of ageing causes the disintegration of collagen and slows down or impeads the formation of new collagen formation. As a result of which it also causes the breakdown of elastin which reduces the elasticity of the skin. This results in the skin becoming slack, wrinkled, parched, thin – transparent and causes it to sag.
