Eye Brow & Eyelash Hair Transplant

The eyebrow is an area of short hairs above the eye that follows the shape of the lower margin of the brow ridges of the eye. Their main function is to prevent sweat, water, and other debris from falling down into the eye socket, but they are also important to human communication and facial expression. They help define the look of an individual and also compliment the beauty of the eyes. Eyebrow transplants are basically a cosmetic procedure, where the donor hair is taken from the scalp, which gets transplanted into the region of the eyebrows,

This is a very delicate and a technique sensitive procedure, requiring perfect placement of the hair follicles into a tiny, half-millimetre slits that are angled at just the right direction, positioned to mimic the natural growth of the brow. This process is usually done where eyebrows are thin, scarred, scanty or completely missing. The absence of hair can be due to genetics or laser hair removal, over-plucking, thyroid or other hormonal imbalances, trauma due to surgery, burns or any other accidental cause. This real purpose of this transplant is to provide an allure by giving the natural look of an eyebrows.
Usually 50 to 350 hair follicles are used to reconstruct the overall eyebrow. This is also a single day procedure and is done by the FUE method.
