Chemical Peeling is a procedure which is used to improve the texture and radiance of the skin over the face and neck. It involves the application of certain chemical solutions over the surface of the skin which causes controlled exfoliation of the skin surface, mainly the epidermis and/or the dermis, which leads to regeneration of epidermal cells and dermal tissues. This new regenerated skin smoother, radiant and less wrinkled than before. It improves the overall appearance of the face and also has an anti-ageing effect.

The chemical solutions used are either naturally occurring or chemically synthesized in varying concentrations and combinations.
